2011 _ COMPETITION IN RIVAROLO CANAVESE (second prize)

Competition for the realization of mobile ramp for the connection between Piazza Mercato and Via Ivrea for the municipality of Rivarolo Canavese (Turin)   In collaboration with Riccardo Rubelli and Alessandro Sartori

The architectural theme is the design of a walkway with specific technical and performance requirements.
From a technical standpoint, we opted for a dual automated system, consisting of a moving walks that facilitate the 40 mt uphill and a moving system allowing the access by disabler users.
To the roof is given the task to set up a relationship with the natural and artificial elements of the context and to give effect to the intervention, retrains the path and its spaces in relation with the landscape.
We proceeded to project a construction system in curved beams of laminated wood, framed together, so as to give rise to a diamond pattern with variable section and great airiness and movement, supported by columns shaped as “metal tree".
